Threw me a curve today

I got my regular chemo last night... during the boy's game. The this morning, my nurse show up with a Bag-O-Chemicals. Anti rejection drugs. Then I got another one that I wear for 24 hours... my man purse. At least it's not on a pole too carry... UGH!

Marie was here for a good part of the day... she just left. One of the drugs that she had to take mede her bones really hurt. So she took some other stuff they gave her. That made her very Stu-Nod and unfunctioning... you can't win. She finally got some food down and felt better,

Talked to Pinky this evening (another of the very many cousins). She's sounds great and sends good wishes my way from Greefield. I have 10 minutes to get myself ready and in bed so they can start the evening chemo.

Sorry for the short one... more tomorrow.

  2. Dear Don:

After what you have been through this is nuttin. I love the idea with you and a purse, does it match your hospital gown? When do they harvest Marie and when is the infusion? Will they be using radiation?

  3. Don,
Saw your friend Gary today. Had a good meeting with some folks. Not as interesting as your day! Keeping you in my thoughts always. Hey, this weekend T and Robert and his class have a team in the local Relay for Life. They raised over $2,000 so far. Robert and some of his friends washed garbage cans in the neighborhood and raised over $200 a couple of weeks ago. You know we will be honoring your bravery as you and Sis go through this "thing".
    Love you.

  6. Hey Don,
Sounds like you're hitting that curve ball out of the park... with your man-purse (Heehee). I had a guy come in to the office yesterday, with a man-purse. Had a gun in it. A new form of holster for concealed carry. I guess we have to be more careful about the man purse jokes. So now, if anyone "comments" about your man purse, show them your gun. Take care my friend and keep the play by plays coming. All the BEST!!

  11. The message is far more important that it's length. If it was much longer, I wouldn't have time for Bob's meetings. Love ya Pal. - Gary
